Vermelle lives by her motto: “Life is a challenge – so face it!” along with her favorite scripture: “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these things, but the greatest of these is charity”. The Golden Rule speaks to her character – “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Her life and her work are a living legacy of a woman who has made an unforgettable difference in the lives of all who have ever been blessed to be in her company. We honor our Delta Dear and Charter Member, Vermelle Byrd!
